Cookie policy

Preamble

This cookie policy (hereinafter the "Cookie Policy") describes the cookies and equivalent technologies used on the wearekjc.com site and the Aurore platform (hereinafter, together, the "Services"), their purpose, their lifetime and the means available to you to control them.

It is established in accordance with Article 82 of Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended, which transposes Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC known as "ePrivacy", as well as with the guidelines and recommendation of the French Data Protection Authority (Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés, CNIL) relating to cookies and other trackers.

Article 1. Definitions

• Cookie: a small file placed and read on your device when you visit an online service.
• Equivalent technology: any device comparable to a cookie, such as browser local storage, allowing information to be read from or written to the device.
• Strictly necessary tracker: a tracker that is essential to the provision of a service expressly requested by the user, exempt from consent.
• Exempt audience measurement tracker: an audience measurement tracker meeting the conditions set by the CNIL to be exempt from consent.

Article 2. Our approach

KJC Productions has chosen an approach limited to what is strictly necessary. The Services use no advertising cookie, no social network cookie, no profiling tracker and no cross-site browsing tracking device.

Consequently, the only devices used fall either into the category of strictly necessary trackers or into that of audience measurement trackers exempt from consent. No consent banner is therefore required. Should KJC Productions come to implement a tracker subject to consent, a compliant consent collection mechanism would be put in place beforehand.

Article 3. Trackers used

3.1. Session cookie (strictly necessary). When connecting to Aurore, a session cookie is placed in order to keep the user authenticated for the duration of their visit. This cookie is essential to the operation of the authenticated area. Without it, logging in and navigating within the platform would be impossible. Its lifetime is limited to the session and it expires when the session is closed or at the end of the authentication period.

3.2. Display preferences (strictly necessary, local storage). The user's language and display theme choices are kept in their browser's local storage, so that they do not have to set them again on each visit. This information remains on the user's device and is neither transmitted to third parties nor used for tracking purposes.

3.3. Audience measurement (exempt from consent). Site traffic is measured in aggregate form using the audience measurement tool of Cloudflare, Inc. This measurement places no tracking cookie on the device, generates no advertising identifier and does not allow the user to be tracked from one site to another. It is strictly limited to producing anonymous traffic statistics intended to understand and improve the use of our services. It is implemented under conditions that comply with the exemption criteria defined by the CNIL.

Article 4. Managing trackers

The user may at any time configure their browser in order to accept, refuse, limit or delete cookies and local storage data. The configuration procedures vary by browser and are described in the browser's help documentation.

Deleting the session cookie will log the user out of Aurore. Deleting preference data will reset the language and theme choices. Refusing strictly necessary trackers may prevent the authenticated area from working properly.

Article 5. Amendment of the Cookie Policy

KJC Productions may amend this Cookie Policy in order to take account of legal, regulatory or technical developments. The applicable version is the one in force on the date of consultation. Any substantial amendment is signalled by an update to the date shown at the top of the document.
